Create June's Contest - Contest (May/Won)

Hey folks,

We want to keep the board here a little active, so we're going to be offering up another Greenknee fitted tshirt.

This will run from May 10th to the 30th.

Come up with a contest to include as many people as possible that ties in DC. You can use product as the prize, or suggest a different prize. The best suggestion wins! (Suggestion must be deemed doable by Gifted Vision staff)

Ok, so here is my idea (posted on the right day this time!)

Once per day, a piece of art is posted and the first person to guess either the artist or the card (whichever you choose to use) gets entered into a roll off like the trivia contest.

But mine is harder but real simular,

Just to clarify the only difference is how the winner is determined?

-> a dice-off (contestants vie for the highest roll)

vs

-> a single die roll (as done with April's contests)

No in mine the art is shown and you have to guess the card

How about you show just portions of a card art and we have to figure out the card and/ artist. You could probably get a good section if you divided the art in to 6-9 segments then just choose the segment.

I think that figuring out the artist would be easy since the art styles only vary between artist. So a style may be easily recognized, but figuring out the card may be a bit more challenging.

So let me get this straight...you want to make a contest to get more activity on the board. Well then why not make the contest a subscriber push? Start a thread and get the members to get new people to come to the board form other forums/ walks of life. Tell your friends and family to start a profile and drop your name in the contest thread. Well they are here tell them to check out the great game the gifted vision is offering. The person who gets the most hits wins.
