I'm still learning the basics and little things come up that I'm not 100% on. I've done some searching on this basic question but didn't find anything.

So if my hand limit is 5 cards and decide to use a card like Recover Treasure, boosted, to get 2 cards back in my hand I wind up with 6 cards, plus the Recover Treasure card in play.

Do I have to swap with something already in my hand to maintain my 5 card limit at that time or do I take care of that stuff during the "discard down to my hand limit" phase at the end if I still have 6 cards (would be 7 at that point if I hadn't used any cards plus drawing my one card)? Did I get that math right? haha

Emphasis mine. This is the correct method. You can have any number of cards in hand during play, but at the end of the round when you have to discard down, you would reduce your hand to Hand Limit (which would be 5, unless you had Veteran, Elite, Champion or Master in play).

Ok cool, that's how I played it but wasn't sure. And thank you for your patience with all of these newbie questions I've been coming up with lately.
